The best solution...DONKEYS!

Due to the long distances that the residents in these Haitian communities need to travel to source water, the most sustainable solution to aid in this problem is to provide residents with donkeys.

Donkeys can:

1) transport larger amounts of water

2) procreate with horses or with other donkeys -  thus, more donkeys to provide in carrying bigger volumes of water  

3) assist the women and men in not having to transport this water on their heads (which leads to injuries and pains).
